From you
- Create 3D and 2D models using SolidWorks
- Produce comprehensive design packages (submittals, production drawings, installation drawings, and sketches)
- Frequently coordinate with clients and project managers over the life of the project
- Practice a continual improvement philosophy to reduce project costs
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Specify materials to be used on the project and ensure specifications
- Highly adaptable and motivated
The Design Engineer uses Solidworks to create advanced two- and three-dimensional models. They work as a highly adaptable member of the team to produce comprehensive design packages, including submittals, production drawings, installation drawings, and sketches. They are an inquisitive critical thinker and self-starter with a strong spatial imagination and creative problem solving ability.

- At least 6 years experience in architectural or industrial design
- At least 4 years experience in 3D modeling, SolidWorks preferred
- Hands-on construction or fabrication experience is an asset. (Welding, Fitting, Fabrication, Woodworking, Carpentry, Millwork, installations)
- Naturally and consistently possess an eye for detail
- Excellent written, reading and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational/record-keeping skills
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
