We are seeking an HR Administrator who is passionate, driven and resourceful to work independently based out of our office in Brantford.
The purpose of this role is to facilitate HR activity effectively and efficiently, ensuring that a best practice approach is delivered to all employees. The successful job incumbent will be the first point of contact for all HR queries across the EeStairs team. You will handle various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policy implementation.
The successful job applicant will be committed to delivering excellent levels of human resource support, have good communication skills, have high attention to detail and organization, have the ability to work both independently and within a team and be reliable and punctual.
We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated with a positive attitude and looking to grow their skill set within the company. The position will require the ability to travel to our Brantford office.

Marketing Coordinator / Inside Sales

- Provide day to day HR support and advice for all clients employees including recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, compensation analysis, performance management, and reporting/analytics
- Audit and update of all company policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation
- Support managers and employees by advising/training on EeStairs policies and procedures
- Manage the end-to-end leave processes including maternity, paternity, bereavement leave
- Facilitate recruitment activities including editing job descriptions, screening candidates, supporting the offer process, and liaising with the hiring managers for both permanent and temporary roles
- Facilitate key HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning and compensation planning
- Assist in and manage employee relations cases, including absence management and performance management
- Serve as a primary user of HR systems & maintain expertise in system processes, and security to enable accurate submissions and reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and communicate company safety policies in accordance with applicable legislation
- Manage accident/incident reporting, ensure documentation for reports is accurate and coordinate implementation of corrective actions as required
- Support WSIB claims management and return to work initiatives for injured workers
- Advise management on improving the culture within the business and any other HR related matters
- Continually recommend ideas around employee welfare, job satisfaction and enrichment
- Post-secondary Diploma in Human Resources or similar
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources – experience in a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset
- CHRP considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Highly resourceful and organised with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
- Able to deal effectively with conflict and manage difficult employee relations situations
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Extremely flexible with the ability to easily shift priorities
- Exceptional communication skills, with the professional savvy of communicating at all levels
- Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Experience working with WSIB claims management considered an asset
Salary: $50,000 + based on experience
